South Beach Bloggers Event

An evening of cocktails and bikinis was really not the type of event I expected to find myself enjoying at 5 months pregnant, but here I was!

The event was for South Beach Swimwear, organised by my blogging friend Katie, and hosted at the fabulous Lola’s bar on Tarif Street, found at the new end of the Northern Quarter, Manchester.

Lola’s Bar is absolutely right up my street, all kitted out shabby beach-hut chic, and for the third time during my whole pregnancy, I felt really peeved that I couldn’t sample the complimentary rum cocktails – rum cocktails are my drink!

I soon got into the spirit as the virgin cocktails were super-duper tasty, and the cakes! Just wow.
After getting my nails done by Skinhealth spa and chatting to some lovely bloggers I checked out the beachwear.

South Beach are a relatively new brand, launched just last summer, but have quickly become renowned for their use of vibrant colours, on-trend prints, and striking details. I really liked the vintage inspired bikinis and the little details really do make the clothes stand out.

I fell in love with the hot pink maxi dress which I think would look amazing with a bump and get me through summer looking stylish.

Check out the website HERE as there are lots and lots of options to suit everyone’s tastes.
